Effective date: September 26, 2026
CACoyote’s Ask experience is currently a scripted public prototype. Questions entered into the prototype are not sent to an AI model and are not stored. Responses are prewritten demonstrations. The prototype does not provide persistent memory, an account, a saved chat history, live location services, microphone access, autonomous publication, or live animal monitoring.
The disclosure next to the question field reads:
Scripted public prototype. Your question is not sent to an AI model and is not stored. Responses are prewritten for demonstration.
The hosting and security infrastructure may process ordinary technical data needed to serve and protect the site, such as IP address, browser/device type, requested URL, referring page, date/time, and diagnostic or security events. We use that information for delivery, reliability, security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting—not advertising profiles or tracking across unrelated sites.
Question text entered into the scripted prototype remains in the browser for the immediate interaction. CACoyote does not intentionally include that text in analytics events, server requests, security logs, local storage, session storage, databases, or third-party services.
If the prototype cannot operate without transmitting or retaining question text, it must be disabled until this Policy and the technical controls are reviewed and updated.
We do not intentionally use advertising cookies or cross-site behavioral tracking. The hosting platform may use cookies or similar technologies necessary to deliver or secure the site. An owner-configured analytics tool may not collect prototype-question text and must be identified in this Policy before activation.
Contact, feedback, and correction links may open your email application. In that case, the website does not itself send or store your message; the email providers involved process it. If you email us, we receive the address and information you choose to include and use it to respond, investigate a correction, maintain appropriate editorial/security records, and improve the publication.
Do not send exact den locations, sensitive wildlife locations, account credentials, or sensitive personal information through a general email address.
CACoyote does not currently provide visitor accounts, purchases, payments, donations, subscriptions, advertising profiles, public comments, content uploads, job applications, or visitor-controlled publication.
Limited information may be processed by hosting, security, email, and technical providers; disclosed when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or the service; or disclosed to comply with applicable law or valid legal process. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Scripted prototype questions are not retained. Technical/security logs are retained according to operational need and provider settings. Emails are retained only as reasonably necessary to respond, manage corrections, protect the publication, keep appropriate records, and meet legal obligations, subject to backups and legal holds.
CACoyote may contain educational material, but it is not designed to collect personal information from children under 13. Children under 13 should not email personal information or enter it into any site control. A parent or guardian may contact us to request review and deletion if they believe a child provided personal information.
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or information about the processing of personal information and may have a right to appeal certain decisions. Submit requests through the contact below. Verification may be required. Authorized-agent requests are honored where required after authority and identity are verified. We will not discriminate for exercising an applicable right.
Because we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, no separate sale/sharing opt-out link is currently provided.
We use reasonable measures appropriate to the site’s current functions, but no system is completely secure. External sources and organizations have their own privacy practices; a link does not mean CACoyote controls them.
We will update this Policy before or when materially different data practices are introduced, including live AI, stored chat, location, accounts, analytics, payments, uploads, or persistent memory. The revised Policy will show a new effective date.
